Your Role at Precision Hire Solution

The primary duty of the Network Engineer is to ensure that client solution requirements are addressed in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This position involves performing configurations, executing installations, and responding to break/fix incidents. The role is designed for individuals working towards associate to professional level certification while simultaneously enhancing their business acumen. A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in the UAE / GCC region is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage significant portions of installation and break/fix incidents at a low to medium complexity level throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Take charge of problem resolution and troubleshooting during the project lifecycle.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate third parties.
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures related to installations and fixes during operational handover.
  • Compile and maintain project administration, including time capture and feedback to stakeholders.
  • Conduct basic presentations within the client's organization.
  • Expected to receive guidance from senior resources on relevant technologies in accordance with specialization and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Fundamental understanding and appreciation of technical design and business principles.
  • Demonstrates networking skills (Routing, Switching) and wireless concepts.
  • Exhibits knowledge as a passive cabling specialist.
  • Displays relevant domain specialist knowledge.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Client-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
  • Professional-level certification in various networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, CCNA, CCNP, or wireless certifications.

Required Experience:

  • Moderate level of work experience in technical implementation engineering specific to networking technologies.
  • Moderate level of experience in client engagement and conducting presentations.
  • Moderate level of experience in networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, SDI distribution, core, and access layers.
  • Moderate level of experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting.
