Job Summary

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Networks Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our irrigation networks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise
    1. Develop and implement maintenance plans for irrigation networks, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimizing downtime.
    2. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation networks to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other operational processes.
  2. Operational Excellence
    1. Plan and execute corrective and preventive maintenance activities for irrigation network assets, including pipelines and pumping stations.
    2. Review and analyze work orders to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
    3. Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established standards and procedures.
    4. Conduct condition assessments of irrigation network assets and provide recommendations for replacement or rehabilitation.
    5. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Customer Focus
    1. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
    2. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  4. Preferred Qualifications
    1. Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    2. Proven experience in maintenance and operations of irrigation networks, with a strong understanding of maintenance processes and techniques.
    3. Knowledge of GIS and MAXIMO systems.
    4. UAE Nationals with 2 years of experience encouraged to apply.
