Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Transmission Line Engineering Expert to join our team in the Middle East. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of high-voltage transmission line projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in overhead transmission lines, and excellent project management skills. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop project plans, ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of overhead transmission line projects from initiation to closeout.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for overhead transmission lines.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for project implementation.
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and progress reviews to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Verify all as-built documents and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permitting requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on overhead transmission line projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of transmission line design, construction, and maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.
