GHD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Project Manager to lead our architectural projects and teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Coordination: Lead the coordination process with other disciplines, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Technical Support: Assist the Resident Engineer in performing contractual duties onsite, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Document Management: Process contract documents, assist contract administration, and develop, modify, and review production drawings and construction documents.
- Design Review: Correct and update design documents, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality control standards.
- Technical Resource: Serve as an architectural resource for the Design department, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s), coordinating application of solutions to ensure project progress.
- Technical Advice: Advise the project manager on any technical aspects of the architectural works that may affect construction progress, quality, and schedule.
- Site Monitoring: Monitor the interior architectural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and procedures manual.
- Shop Drawings and Submittals: Review all shop drawings and architectural technical submittals, ensuring compliance with design intent and contractual obligations.
- RFI's and Submittals: Answer RFI's related to interior and architecture, reviewing construction submittals from project inception to close-out.
- Procurement and Deliveries: Monitor procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline.
- Site Observation and Inspection: Undertake general project site observation/inspection of the works for Contractor's adherence to approved shop drawings and Consultant's specification, good working practices, the construction schedule, and health & safety.
- Snagging and De-Snagging: Lead the snagging and de-snagging process with an aim to progress the works to completion through this process.
- Meetings and Instructions: Attend project, site progress, and any related technical meetings as directed by the project manager, preparing draft site/engineer's instructions as required and issuing to the Project Manager.
- Variation Costs: Provide advice to the Project Manager in regard to any variation costs that may be claimed by the Contractor during the course of the works.
- Architectural Oversight: Oversee architects and inspectors for all architectural work, ensuring installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards.
