Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Low Carbon Solutions team at NOV. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of low carbon technologies and contributing to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Low Carbon Solutions team to develop and implement process engineering solutions for low carbon technologies.
  • Support global tendering as technical specialization lead for low carbon solutions technologies, providing technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform early study and concept work on CCS and Hydrogen applications, including process simulations, heat and mass balances, and PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Support the standardization and development of the core product portfolio, ensuring that our products meet the needs of our clients and the market.
  • Size process equipment, including pressure vessels, 2-Phase Separators, heat exchangers, compressors, filters, pumps, and other equipment.
  • Participate in and contribute to FEED studies, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support and build process expertise to bring forward commercial opportunities to market, working closely with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • MSc. in Process or Chemical Engineering, or similar (Essential)
  • BSc. in Process or Chemical Engineering with more than 5 years of experience in directly relevant areas

Experience

  • More than 3 years of experience in the process engineering industry
  • Process engineering experience - P&ID design, HAZOP, process simulation, plant and facilities operations, and equipment design
  • Experience with gas processing technologies is an advantage, particularly with Amine systems, PSA, TEG, and Solid Desiccant dehydration systems
  • Experience with CCUS and Hydrogen technologies is an advantage
