Job Overview

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all structural engineering activities for the transportation project during the pre-construction and construction phases. This includes reviewing and validating structural designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, conducting detailed analysis and evaluation of structural components, and providing technical guidance and support to the construction team.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification. Proven experience in design review and construction supervision of metro rail or similar transport infrastructure projects is also necessary. Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering is expected.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing and validating structural designs submitted by the D&B contractor.
  • Ensuring designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
  • Conducting detailed analysis and evaluation of structural components.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the construction team.
  • Monitoring construction activities to ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications.
