Job Summary

AJMAN UNIVERSITY is seeking a highly skilled Simulation Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating simulation-based training programs for students and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Simulation Lab Coordination: Coordinate and schedule simulation-based training programs, ensuring seamless execution and effective use of simulation equipment.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for simulation equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
  • Instructional Design: Collaborate with instructors to design and develop simulation-based training programs, incorporating adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement simulation-based educational and training programs.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including instructors, learners, and technical support staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Manage simulation equipment, schedules, and data effectively, ensuring timely and efficient execution of simulation-based training programs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing/Biomedical Engineering or any bachelor with IT/medical equipment experience.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in nursing education/clinical nursing instruction, with the ability to create a supportive learning environment for students. Experience in simulation lab coordination is desirable.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the technical aspects of simulation equipment, knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, and knowledge of instructional design principles.
