We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as Assistant Manager Contracts at Elevon Core.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent contract negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement contracts policies and procedures.

About the Role:

  • Provide strategic direction to the Contract Unit, driving the achievement of sectional objectives through effective leadership and staff management.
  • Leverage technology to enhance core efficiencies and competencies, maximizing performance and widening the scope of procurement contracts services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough contract evaluations to identify and mitigate GCAA risk exposure.
  • Ensure compliance with Elevon Core policies and procedures, as well as federal government regulations and interests.
  • Oversee the bidding process to guarantee effectiveness, transparency, and proper governance.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and review RFP documents.
  • Work with the legal department to establish standards for contracts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during contract negotiations with vendors.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze contract variations, ensuring adherence to policy.
  • Manage contract claims and disputes, working closely with the Legal department.
  • Explore alternative resolution methods to resolve disputes with vendors mutually.

Requirements:

  • A university degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement contracts function or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, as defined in JD Matrix.
