About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Premium Auditor to join our team at Unikomm. As a Premium Auditor, you will play a critical role in conducting insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation and General Liability policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough audits of policyholder records to determine accurate classifications and business activities.
  • Prepare and submit complete audit documents, explaining results to insured parties and communicating findings to the home office.
  • Travel to multiple audit locations daily/weekly, utilizing a valid driver's license and maintaining a satisfactory driving record.
  • Collaborate with insured parties via phone, email, and mail to schedule and prepare for audits.
  • Apply manual rules and company guidelines to ensure accurate premium calculations.
Requirements
  • At least two years of direct premium auditing experience, preferably in a vendor setting. We will consider individuals with closely related backgrounds and provide training.
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field. Alternatively, experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or commercial insurance may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Visual Audit are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (based on Unikomm guidelines).
