In the role of an Equity Investment Specialist, you will be pivotal in evaluating investment prospects, drafting comprehensive investment reports, and bolstering the overarching investment strategy of the family office. The ideal candidate will possess a robust consulting background, experience in both private and public equity sectors, and exceptional analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess potential investment opportunities across private and public equity markets.
- Draft detailed investment reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct extensive financial modeling and valuation assessments utilizing Excel.
- Leverage Bloomberg Terminal for market research and data evaluation.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of current investments.
- Offer insights and recommendations to facilitate informed investment decisions.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet investment objectives.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry advancements, and economic factors influencing investments.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Completion of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is essential.
- 3 to 5 years of experience within a family office or consulting environment.
- Strong expertise in both private and public equity investments.
- Proficiency in utilizing Bloomberg Terminal for investment analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to be based in the UAE.
