Role Description

The Government Reporting Specialist is responsible for managing financial and operational reporting for various business projects, ensuring accurate and timely reports in line with policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include managing monthly management reports for Government funded initiatives, reporting to senior finance management on variances and key issues, and analysing transactions and preparing required journals.

Skills and Qualifications:

Desired Background: A strong background in financial planning and reporting, preferably Government reporting, is essential for this role.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and variety of accounting processes and internal controls.
