Job Title: Air Traffic Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Traffic Planning Specialist to join our team as a Senior Planner.

About the Role:

The Senior Planner will be responsible for providing strategic planning advice to clients' management teams, developing and validating the engineering, procurement, and construction sequence logic in line with procurement strategies. This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to make informed decisions and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in large international airport projects, with proven track record and familiarity with Primavera P6. They will also possess excellent technical/professional expertise to perform job duties successfully and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic planning advice to clients' management teams, ensuring alignment with overall project schedules.
  • Develop and validate the engineering, procurement, and construction sequence logic in line with procurement strategies.
  • Approve the Contract / Baseline Program in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Project Control Manager.
  • Maintain and update the delivery program at least fortnightly, monitoring progress and implementing progress tracking, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Review Contract documents for each Construction Package and notify the Projects Controls Manager of any deficiencies or non-compliance.
  • Evaluate Contractors' proposed site organization and Planners' CVs, reporting findings to the Projects Controls Manager.
  • Review and approve/designate Design schedules submitted by Consultants, ensuring compliance with overall project schedules.
  • Assess and endorse/ comment on Construction schedules submitted by Contractors, guaranteeing alignment with overall project timelines.
  • Examine and approve/provide input on Procurement schedules submitted by Contractors, ensuring coordination with current construction schedules.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in large international airport projects.
  • A proven track record of success in similar roles.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 and other relevant software tools.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Possesses necessary technical/professional expertise to perform job duties successfully.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of work and suggesting improvements.
