Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.

In addition to food preparation, the successful candidate will also be responsible for operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, testing food to ensure it has been cooked sufficiently, monitoring food quality while preparing food, setting up and breaking down work stations, and serving food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.

The candidate must also maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, adhere to company policies and procedures, and protect company assets. Additionally, they will need to communicate effectively with colleagues, develop positive working relationships, and support team goals.

This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period, as well as reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. The ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance is also required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
