Market Analysis and Research

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market analysis and research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. They will use this information to inform business decisions and drive growth and revenue.

Commercial Relationship Management

The Senior Trader will be expected to build and maintain strong commercial relationships with customers and suppliers. They will negotiate deals, contracts, and resolve commercial issues effectively.

Leadership and Team Management

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, training and mentoring the team to achieve sales and income budgets annually. They will contribute to the company's strategic direction and collaborate with other departments as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Qualifications: Relevant degree in Food technology or Sciences.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 - 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Industries Acceptable From: Food & Beverage Commodities Trading / Agri / Dairy Ingredients.
  • Role Specific Qualifications & Training: Proven experience within Dairy trade with agency management and P&L responsibility.
  • Languages Required: Fluency in English. Arabic is very advantageous.
  • Computer and Software Proficiency: Full MS Office Suite.
  • Travel Availability / Time Flexibility: 50%.
  • Work Relationships: Internal: All stakeholders, VP/BUH/Functions/Dairy Team External: Clients and Suppliers.
