The Pediatric Critical Care Specialist will be tasked with the assessment and treatment of patients at King's College Hospital – Dubai who present with conditions necessitating specialized neonatal care.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a diverse patient caseload, addressing a variety of health issues within the facilities of King's College Hospital – Dubai, including outpatient, inpatient, and day case treatments.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient care and adhere to the hospital's care manifesto.
- Evaluate and manage patients presenting to the hospital, working under the guidance of the Consultant in Pediatric Critical Care across multiple medical specialties.
- Diagnose and provide treatment in accordance with established best practice standards.
- Review investigation results promptly and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with senior medical staff regarding inpatient care decisions and implement care plans effectively.
- Conduct daily rounds for Pediatric Critical Care inpatients alongside the consultant.
- Regularly assess patients in line with the established care plan from ward rounds.
- Execute clinical responsibilities under the supervision of the admitting consultant, ensuring consistent communication regarding patient management strategies.
- Facilitate patient handovers from the previous shift to maintain continuity of care.
