Estimation Proposals Engineer Team Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the effort for technical proposal preparation, coordination, and compilation. This includes reviewing RFT/tender documents, analyzing, and preparing bid/nobid analysis. The candidate will collaborate with engineering subcontractors to finalize engineering deliverables, man hours, and unit rates. They will also prepare and finalize EPC or tender lump sum cost estimates, including all disciplines in SOW. In addition, they will compile and review each discipline's cost estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with scope of work. Finally, they will work closely with Proposals & Estimation Manager to estimate and prepare budget for various direct and indirect costs.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical, with at least 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry. Experience in UAE or Middle East is highly desirable. A lead role in similar business or industry, with ADNOC Group project experience being a must, is also essential.
The selected individual will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with Sales, Projects, Procurement, Finance, HR, and Contracts departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Developing and executing strategies to win new business opportunities.
- Providing technical expertise for all sizes of projects, including reviewing RFT/tender documents, analyzing, and preparing bid/nobid analysis.
- Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring that confidential data and information are protected within the department.
- Coaching and mentoring other proposals & estimation engineers in the department.
