About the Role:

The Client of Talentmate is seeking a qualified Construction Materials Examiner to join our team in Dubai. As a Construction Materials Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting tests on construction materials such as soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates to ensure they meet project specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Examining construction materials such as soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
  2. Collecting samples from construction sites, batching plants, or suppliers and ensuring proper handling and labeling.
  3. Operating and calibrating laboratory equipment such as compression machines, ovens, sieves, and balances.
  4. Recording test results accurately and preparing detailed reports for review by engineers and project managers.
  5. Identifying and reporting non-compliant materials or test outcomes that deviate from standards.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering Technology, Materials Testing, or a related technical field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a materials testing laboratory or construction quality control environment, preferably within the UAE.
  • Familiarity with ASTM, BS, and AASHTO standards and UAE construction regulations.
  • Ability to use laboratory testing equipment and interpret test data accurately.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills using MS Excel and laboratory software.
