First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the risk management of all derivatives-related transactions executed by the Global Markets department.
Key Responsibilities:- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with derivatives transactions, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to trade reporting regulations for CB UAE, HKMA, MAS, MiFID, and others.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Compliance and Market Risk teams to ensure accurate determination of closing prices, particularly for OTC and ETD transactions.
You will have a strong understanding of products handled by the Derivatives team and be able to interpret Shariah guidelines and align them with current processes.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, with a minimum of 2 years in similar positions of progressively increasing responsibilities in an Operations function.
