Position Overview:

As a Building Management Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational efficiency of our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our environments are comfortable and safe for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring Operations: Regularly assess the functionality of the facilities through a combination of advanced computerized Building Management Systems (BMS) and routine physical inspections.
  • Identifying Issues: Detect and rectify any operational irregularities related to temperature, airflow, humidity, pressure, emissions, odors, noise, and ventilation to maintain optimal comfort and efficiency.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance tasks as assigned, ensuring repairs are completed and documented promptly and effectively.
  • Alarm Management: Supervise critical alarms via the Building Maintenance System, responding swiftly to mitigate issues and restore normal operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all work performed by both in-house staff and external contractors meets high engineering standards.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring that technical support services are addressed promptly and by anticipating individual needs whenever possible.
  • Service Excellence: Uphold the safety and comfort of guests, ensuring that all service requests are managed with professionalism and efficiency.
Desired Skills & Expertise:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BMS Operator.
  • Previous work experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, chillers, and electrical systems, with the ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot effectively.
