Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pipeline Corrosion Specialist to join our team at MatchaTalent. As a key member of our pipeline integrity management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing corrosion mitigation plans to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Corrosion Mitigation Plans: Create and execute comprehensive corrosion mitigation plans to prevent pipeline failures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct Corrosion Risk Assessments: Identify and assess corrosion risks associated with pipeline operations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with Inspection Teams: Work closely with inspection teams to evaluate internal and external corrosion issues and coating assessments during plant shutdowns and turnaround inspections.
  • Develop and Optimize On-Stream Inspection (OSI) Programs: Design and implement OSI programs to optimize pipeline inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Support Facility Improvements: Review design packages for potential and new projects and provide comments related to corrosion monitoring and mitigation plans, including material selection, installation of Corrosion Monitoring Systems (CMS), chemical treatments, and OSI.
  • Failure Investigations and Recommendations: Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to prevent failures and improve the integrity of field piping and pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of pipeline corrosion, integrity management, and industry standards.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
