About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Audit Consultant to join our Risk Advisory team in the UAE. As a Senior IT Audit Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality IT audit services to our clients, identifying and mitigating business process and IT risks, and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT risk assessments, IT audit planning, application reviews, and governance risk and compliance engagements for clients.
  • Work with clients to identify and manage business process and IT risks within their strategy execution model.
  • Assist clients in applying key frameworks and standards.
  • Execute client engagements from start to completion, including planning, execution, direction, and completion.
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of engagements, including managing multiple work streams and re-prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Evaluate and test client-related business process and IT controls, identifying areas of risk.
  • Apply current knowledge of IT trends and systems processes to identify security and risk management issues and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Work with team members and client personnel to plan engagement strategy, define objectives, and address technology-related controls risks and issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology-related field.
  • 2-4 years of related work experience in IT audit within a similar consulting practice, a Big 4 firm, or a large CPA firm servicing cross-industry clients.
  • Exposure to Technology Audits (IT/IS) is essential.
  • Security experience or information security training is required.
  • Other areas of expertise needed include access control software, security architecture and administration, Internet use/firewalls, network security awareness and enforcement, security policies and standards, operating systems, and databases.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to document testing in a highly detailed and exacting manner.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO27001 LI/LA, ISO22301 LI/LA, or license/certification is preferred.
