Cluster Environmental Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Cluster Manager to join our team at Asterix Communications. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and manuals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are aware of EHS procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure a safe and effective response to emergencies.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure our EHS programs remain effective and compliant.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced EHS professional with a strong background in environmental health and safety management. The ideal candidate will have a college or university degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The candidate must be proficient in English and Arabic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be a team player who thrives in a multi-cultural setting.
