About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technical Specialist to lead our drafting efforts and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs and installations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary information for design purposes.
  • Create detailed elevator designs using AutoCAD software, incorporating input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Verify designs with colleagues to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of drawings and updates according to established procedures.
  • Enhance product functionality by identifying potential operational issues and redesigning components.
  • Process modification requests from clients or internal teams, obtaining approval before executing changes.
  • Ensure final designs comply with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for managing all drawings, guaranteeing they remain updated.
  • Integrate safety considerations into layout drawings, adhering to company policies.
  • Develop document and data control procedures for technical drawings.
  • Set performance objectives with your supervisor and work diligently to achieve them throughout the year.
  • Recognize areas for personal development and collaborate with your supervisor to determine necessary training courses.
  • Strive to excel in all competencies and skills essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
  • AutoCAD certification.
  • Awareness of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is beneficial.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in the Elevator/Escalator industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
