Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our Fire & Life Safety team in our Dubai office.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Prepare and review fire protection systems drawings for authority submission and approval, including firefighting, fire alarm, smoke control, emergency lighting, and LPG systems.
  2. Reporting and Documentation: Write fire protection reports and conduct QAQC on other reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Project Delivery: Produce high-quality submittals to agreed deadlines, meeting project timelines and client expectations.
  4. Strategy and Development: Contribute to the development of fire protection design deliverables and final FLS Strategy reports and studies.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other specialist disciplines to deliver projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  6. Professional Development: Actively pursue continued professional development through training modules and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  7. Quality and Safety: Conduct all fire and life safety activities in a quality, healthy, and safe manner, reporting any observed problems or risks to concerned personnel.
Requirements:
  1. Education: BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire Safety/Protection or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience practicing fire protection engineering/consultancy.
  3. Certifications: IFE Member, CFPS, and PMP Certification.
  4. Skills: Sound technical knowledge in Fire Safety/Engineering within Residential, Commercial, and Hotels sectors.
