Job Summary

ENOC is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring the secure and reliable running of all network components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Operations
    • Ensure the seamless, secure, effective, and efficient operation of all network components within ENOC.
    • Provide timely data and reports to IT Infrastructure Services Senior Manager, recommending network operational improvements to support planning, vision, and decision-making.
  • Network Maintenance
    • Execute BAU activities and tasks related to active network components.
    • Develop and execute network maintenance SOPs to ensure that network controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively.
    • Provide immediate fixes whenever network incidents are identified or reported.
  • Network Security
    • Contribute to the development of appropriate IT security policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, and internal controls related to network in line with the corporate IT Security framework.
    • Apply the latest security patches and bug fixes as soon as released by vendors.
  • Project Implementation
    • Involve in new project implementation during the project lifecycle (Dev, QC, UAT, Production).
    • Proactively monitor the delivery of network services according to approved policies and procedures, user requests, SLAs, and maintenance schedules with minimum downtime.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with other IT Service managers in a highly technical and sensitive environment to gain buy-in for proposed architectures and technology.
    • Liaise with suppliers and 3rd parties to ensure network industry best practices are followed to deliver network solutions efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain network inventory for production, QC, DEV, UAT systems.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business field or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience with a focus on network and network security concepts.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in network design, deployment, recovery, and management.
    • Proven experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
    • Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and network management best practices.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure concepts, frameworks, and standards.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in network performance management and tuning, security hardening, and network availability.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong experience in automation tools related to Network management.
