About the Role

The Chief Security Strategist at Dicetek LLC is responsible for driving the development and implementation of IT security strategies across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of security technologies, threat landscapes, and risk management practices.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with organizational goals.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and mitigating security risks.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and vulnerabilities to ensure proactive defense measures.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security measures are integrated into IT system design and implementation.
  5. Manage IT security projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  6. Monitor and report on security performance metrics to inform business decisions.
  7. Stay current with industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring organizational adherence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. At least 8 years of experience in IT security management, including leadership or team lead roles.
  2. Strong understanding of security technologies, threat landscapes, and risk management practices.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

    1. Threat Analysis: Continuously monitor potential threats to the IT infrastructure.
    2. Risk Identification: Conduct regular security assessments (e.g., penetration testing, vulnerability assessments) to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
    3. Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies and controls to reduce or eliminate identified risks.
  2. Security Design and Architecture
    1. Secure Infrastructure Design: Design and implement secure network architectures.
    2. Application Security: Ensure secure development practices are followed for new applications.
    3. Cloud Security: Implement security measures for cloud-based systems and services.
  3. Incident Response and Management
    1. Incident Detection: Monitor systems for signs of security incidents.
    2. Incident Response: Develop and implement response plans to effectively manage and mitigate security breaches.
    3. Post-Incident Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis after a security incident.
  4. Security Monitoring and Threat Intelligence
    1. Continuous Monitoring: Use security information and event management (SIEM) tools to monitor network traffic, logs, and endpoints.
    2. Threat Intelligence: Gather intelligence about emerging threats and vulnerabilities from external sources.
    3. Network Monitoring: Set up and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) to monitor network traffic for suspicious activities.
  5. Access Control and Identity Management
    1. Authentication: Implement secure authentication mechanisms like multi-factor authentication (MFA).
    2. User Access Management: Enforce the principle of least privilege (PoLP).
    3. Privileged Access Management: Control and monitor the use of privileged accounts.
  6. Compliance and Governance
    1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the organization meets industry regulations and compliance standards.
    2. Audit and Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of security policies, procedures, and controls.
    3. Security Policies: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures.
