Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning
    • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging drama lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and IGCSE level.
    • Develop and implement innovative curricular approaches to engage students and promote high levels of achievement.
  • Student Support and Progress
    • Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
    • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide drama initiatives.
    • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in their child's education.
  • Professional Development
    • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in drama education.

Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Drama or a related subject.
    • Have a minimum of two years' experience teaching drama at Key Stage 3 and IGCSE level.

    • Be a qualified teacher with a strong track record of delivering high-quality drama education.
