Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Commis 2 to join our kitchen team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation, working closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
The ideal candidate will have professional culinary experience over 1 year, with a background in a fine dining standalone restaurant. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are essential for this role.
- Preparation and serving of food, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to company procedures.
- Monitoring stock movement and ordering on your section, contributing to achieving food cost kitchen standard and overall objectives.
- Daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labeling/dating, and storage, with attention to hazard removal and defect rectification.
- Maintaining personal hygiene, clean uniforms, and camaraderie, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Professional culinary experience over 1 year.
- Experience in a Commis II or Commis III role within a fine dining standalone restaurant.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Culinary Certificate from a recognized institution preferred.
