Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Draughtsperson to join our team at Wood. As a Junior Draughtsperson, you will play a key role in creating and updating documentation, utilizing 2D and 3D software packages, and collaborating with our Draughtsperson and Senior Draughtsperson to locate associated documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with client engineering requirements and company expectations.
• Utilize 2D and 3D software packages to create and update documentation, designs, and models, ensuring seamless integration with our digital twins and intelligent documentation systems.
• Collaborate with our Draughtsperson and Senior Draughtsperson to locate and retrieve associated documentation, ensuring timely delivery to clients.
• Assist in conducting site surveys as needed, working closely with our Technical Lead to ensure accurate data collection.
• Monitor and manage your workload to ensure timely delivery of projects to clients, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Support our Technical Lead in reporting and providing technical assistance as required.
• Contribute to our company's Safety and Quality Culture, adhering to our core values and promoting a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Suitable CAD knowledge or relevant qualification.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• A drive for continuous learning and understanding of the latest design tools, technologies, and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• A good level of general computer skills, with a focus on electronic housekeeping and data management.
