About the Role

This Carpenter / Painter role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs, as well as installing cabinets, shelves, and other woodwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install wooden structures such as doors, cabinets, shelves, partitions, and frames.
  • Repair damaged furniture, wooden flooring, and other wooden installations.
  • Install locks, hinges, handles, and other fixtures.
  • Conduct framing, roofing, and general woodwork as required.
  • Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and priming before painting.
  • Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and wooden surfaces.
  • Repair cracks, holes, and other damages on walls and ceilings before painting.
  • Ensure a smooth, even paint finish with proper techniques and tools.
  • Assess and repair minor structural damage to buildings.
  • Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other technicians as needed.
