We are a reputable veterinary practice seeking a skilled and compassionate receptionist to join our team. As a vital part of our front desk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients, directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Notify the vet team of patient arrivals and inquiries.
  • Maintain the telecommunications system and ensure efficient communication with clients and staff.
  • Monitor the appointment agenda and logbook, maintaining accuracy and up-to-date records.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean and safe, adhering to procedures and regulations.
  • Support the team by documenting actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
  • Assist in setting up new clients and maintain accurate financial database records.
  • Manage stock supplies, anticipating work requirements and distributing as needed.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and book appointments efficiently.
  • Pursue ongoing staff training and development opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to maintain professional appearance at all times.
