Key Responsibilities- Student Achievement and Talent Development
- Create and implement an inclusive talent program that is open to primary and secondary aged students across our network of schools.
- Work with school teams to implement the talent program, providing student talent workshops on a range of activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external providers to deliver additional music lessons and other extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with the financial team to develop accurate budgeting and costings for all student achievement activities.
- Work with departments to accommodate requests to showcase student performances through various initiatives.
- Implement the delivery of holiday camps and competitions.
- Student Enrichment and Community Programs
- Work with the Coordinators of the Academy of Excellence to promote student achievement.
- Create and implement a junior version of the Academy of Excellence for gifted and talented junior students.
- Support the development of elite sports talent programs.
- Design and implement wider community programs, including coordination of winter, spring, and summer camps.
- Oversee the production of termly newsletters and develop social media opportunities to ensure wider visibility of our achievements.
- Promote competitions and events, including the end of year Academy of Excellence presentation awards ceremony.
- Maintain a database of Academy of Excellence students and their contributions.
- Other Responsibilities
- Attend Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training as required.
- Work with the team to develop staff training courses.
- Support inspection preparation and outcomes related to student achievement.
- Assist the wider education team in meeting group strategic aims.
- Support the School Review team with the internal review process as required.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in middle or senior leadership in a school or general education setting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Collaborative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to set high expectations and standards.
- Well-organized and culturally aware.
- Respectful and professional demeanor.
