Job Summary

Al Nahiya Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Management Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our energy management team, you will be responsible for coordinating with refinery teams to ensure the implementation of energy management strategies and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with refinery teams to ensure the implementation of energy management strategies and goals.
  • Provide process support for energy-efficient operation of units and identify process efficiency improvement potentials.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective initiatives to improve energy performance.
  • Initiate energy improvement studies relating to refinery processes.
  • Act as a key contributor to improving refining margins by reducing energy operating costs.
  • Develop procedures and guidelines on energy management as applicable to refinery operations.
  • Coordinate internal energy audits and conduct energy awareness programs/trainings/workshops.
  • Plan and provide inputs for capital and operating budgets to improve and sustain energy performance.
  • Review energy improvement proposals and associated techno-economic feasibility studies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Chemical Engineering.
  • At least 9 years of experience in refining and oil-related fields, with 5 years in a senior engineer position.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English language.
  • Computer literate.
