**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at MatchaTalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of power systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Technical Troubleshooting:** Provide technical assistance and support to maintenance staff for resolving power system-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • **Design Reviews:** Conduct thorough design reviews and provide comments for capital projects throughout the project cycle, including design basis scoping paper, project proposals, and detailed design packages.
  • **Site Activities:** Perform site activities such as field engineering, pre-commissioning support, commissioning, and startup, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • **Technical Support:** Offer technical support for all field power systems at EWPD facilities and maintain ETAP models for all plants, ensuring accurate and up-to-date system designs.
  • **Conceptual Design:** Prepare conceptual design packages and engineering budgetary cost estimates, providing valuable insights for project planning and execution.
  • **Power System Design:** Develop and review power system designs for new projects and extensions to existing systems, ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency.
  • **Installation and Commissioning:** Review installation, site commissioning, and factory acceptance testing for low and high voltage transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and control gear, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • **UPS and Battery Systems:** Analyze components, design parameters, installation, operation, and maintenance requirements of UPS, DC, and battery systems, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • **Calculation Studies:** Advise on calculation study results and lead implementation of recommendations, optimizing conceptual power system design based on system studies.
  • **PMS Software:** Resolve issues with power monitoring system (PMS) software, ensuring seamless system operation and minimal downtime.
  • **Project Specifications:** Provide project specifications and demonstrate operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

**Requirements:**

  • **Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field**
  • **Minimum 5 years of experience in power systems engineering**
  • **Strong technical expertise in power systems design and development**
  • **Excellent communication and leadership skills**
  • **Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks**
