Job Summary

Star Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Specialist to join our team. As a Fire Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our personnel and assets by operating all safety equipment, responding to fire alarms and incidents, and maintaining good operational condition of firefighting equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate all safety equipment, including firefighting and rescuing equipment, such as aerial ladders, axes, fire hoses, etc.
  • Respond to fire alarms and incidents, including oil and gas release fires, etc.
  • Maintain good operational condition of firefighting equipment, safety equipment, and PPE.
  • Attend incidents as part of a mutual aid agreement or by prearrangement.
  • Carry out firefighting and fire safety rescue activities in emergency periods, including daily safety patrols and heliport standby.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience as a professional firefighter (preferably in airport, port, and offshore environments).
  • Preferable work experience in the UAE.
  • NFPA level 1 and 2 certification or British equivalent.
  • Emergency medical care training courses and certificates.
  • UAE Driving Licence (both heavy and light vehicle).

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to attend incidents and emergencies as required.
