Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Scheduler to join our team at the Ghobash Group. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering project planning activities and deliverables for EPC oil and gas projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare master and construction schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Projects.
  • Generate monthly, weekly, and daily reports on operational activities.
  • Develop internal schedules to track major milestones and achieve project completion dates.
  • Analyze project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate work between inter-discipline teams and subcontractors.
  • Identify risks and plan risk responses.
  • Plan and coordinate materials and resources.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and prepare work breakdown structures.
  • Develop and update resource histograms.
  • Prepare project cash flow and actual comparisons.
  • Prepare lookahead schedules and recovery schedules as needed.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and at least 5-6 years of experience in handling EPC oil and gas projects.

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Certificate in Primavera and MS Projects.
  • Hands-on experience in Primavera P6 and MS Projects.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project financing and cost control principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good health, environment, and safety management knowledge.
