Job Overview

The Senior Credit Professional is responsible for conducting detailed credit analysis and assessment of POS credit applications to determine whether the borrower is eligible for financing. This involves reviewing and analysing clients financial statements, bank statements and/or Audited Financial Statements, investigating their credit history/credit reports to meet banks lending standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare credit memos with customer details and initiate field visits for customers who are eligible for loan after initial analysis.
  • Recommend and prepare loan proposals keeping in mind policies, procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, processes and practices to ensure smooth and methodical work.
  • Exhibit consistency with organisations values and ethics to demonstrate a value driven culture within the bank.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and methods to efficiently carry out duties.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance/Banking/Commerce required. Minimum 5 years experience in Credit and/or Banking.
