Job Title: Information Technology Security Officer

INDEX Holding is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information cyber security management program to ensure the protection of our information assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Cyber Security Strategies: Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program to reduce risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT Functions: Work closely with the CTO and all IT functions to facilitate cyber security and risk assessment processes, ensuring that all IT systems and services are secure and compliant.
  • Conduct Security Audits and Risk Assessments: Evaluate the IT threat landscape to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks, leading auditing and compliance initiatives to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Manage IT Security Devices: Monitor, maintain, and administer IT security devices, such as firewalls, switches, and web filtering devices, to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Develop Security Policies and Procedures: Assist in the implementation of IT cyber security strategies, policies, and procedures, and prepare documentation for security reports and guidelines.
  • Enhance Security Framework: Develop and enhance an information security management framework to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems, and services.
  • Partner with Business Stakeholders: Partner with business stakeholders across INDEX Holding to raise awareness of cyber security risk management concerns and conduct training and workshops to ensure compliance.
  • Manage Cyber Security Incidents: Manage and maintain cyber security incident management and track accordingly, ensuring that all incidents are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Review Audit Reports: Review audit reports and assist in tackling security issues raised by auditors, ensuring that all security vulnerabilities are addressed and resolved.
  • Conduct Periodic Security Checks: Conduct periodic security checks on all relevant IT systems and services to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Conduct Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct periodic penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Manage Backup and Restoration: Perform periodic checks of backup restoration practices to ensure the consistency of backup data and integration.
  • Control IT-Related Risk: Assist in controlling IT-related risk by advising management and functional units on all IT policies and procedures, ensuring that all risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Ensure Data Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality and protection of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property, ensuring that all data is secure and compliant.
  • Manage Patch Management: Check updates on systems to ensure patch management with the latest patches and upgrades on a regular basis.
  • Manage Crisis Situations: Assist in managing crisis situations involving complex technical hardware or software problems, ensuring adequate provision for business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that INDEX Holding is adaptable to evolving cyber security compliance regulations, ensuring that all systems and services are compliant and secure.
  • Supervise IT Projects: Solicit, study, and evaluate all IT projects plans to ensure risk low effectiveness, identify and develop risk analysis, and supervise risk management for the IT department.
