**Responsibilities**

The Humanities Teacher will be responsible for:

• Teaching humanities subjects to students, including history, literature, and social studies.

• Developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.

• Assessing student progress through regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback.

• Maintaining a clean and organized classroom, creating a conducive learning environment.

• Communicating regularly with parents and guardians through progress reports and parent-teacher meetings.

• Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.

• Contributing to the development of curriculum materials and educational resources.

• Coordinating field trips and other educational activities that enhance student learning.

• Providing additional support to students who require extra help outside of regular class time.
