The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned nightlife restaurant, maintaining high standards of service, managing staff, controlling costs, and ensuring a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the restaurant operations, including staff management, customer experience, financial management, supply chain, and marketing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local health codes and regulations regarding food preparation, storage, and handling.
  • Communicate with management to ensure effective business operations.
  • Coordinate certificate and license renewals with the legal department.
  • Forecast staffing needs and plan accordingly with HR.
  • Lead, manage, and coach the restaurant staff for a well-trained, motivated, and productive team.
  • Implement succession planning for all staff members.
  • Address customer complaints while upholding the company's customer service ethos.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Safety control regarding staff training needs.
  • Manage staff disagreements and grievances according to company policies.
  • Attend operations meetings for future planning and profit increase discussion.
  • Ensure trained PICs conduct regular shift start reports and updates on the Food Watch System.
  • Manage inventory levels and ordering of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Supervise the financial performance of the restaurant, ensuring alignment with P&L forecasts.
  • Complete regular financial and operations reports as required by management.
