**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Civil Foreman to join our team at Systematic Contracting LLC. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage daily tasks and activities on construction sites, prioritizing tasks and making adjustments as needed to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with the project requirements.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to laborers and subcontractors, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Train, manage, and mentor laborers and subcontractors to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Create and manage schedules, monitor attendance, and ensure that laborers and subcontractors are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Provide adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, and safety needs.
  • Emphasize the importance of safety on construction sites, providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures to ensure that all personnel are aware of the risks and take necessary precautions.
  • Oversee construction sites, supervise the use of machinery and equipment, and ensure that all personnel are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably, ensuring that all personnel are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Regularly report project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials, providing updates on progress, challenges, and any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in construction in the UAE.
  • Proven experience as a construction foreman or site supervisor.
  • Must have experience in high-rise building construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively.
  • Aptitude in math.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Good physical condition and stamina.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Firm understanding of providing survey functions for civil works.
  • Demonstrative knowledge of software programs.
  • Effective communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Experience using CAD software.
