Mazrui International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's tax compliance and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee Tax Compliance: Ensure the company's tax compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.
- Develop Tax Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement a comprehensive tax strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
- Manage VAT Services: Provide a full range of VAT services, including review of monthly VAT returns, timely and accurate filing of VAT returns, and reconciliation of return and accounting records.
- Ensure Tax Efficiency: Identify and mitigate tax risks, and ensure minimum irrecoverable VAT to the company.
- Coordinate with Inter-Group Companies: Collaborate with inter-group companies to collect tax returns and compile for submitting returns with tax authorities across all countries.
- Manage Tax Provision and Compliance: Manage the tax provision and compliance process, including tax audits, assessments, appeals, and litigations.
- Improve Processes: Develop and implement best practices to improve tax compliance and efficiency.
- Build Relations with Business Units: Build strong relationships with General Managers of the Business Units and provide excellent planning, consultation, and expertise in areas of tax management.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in the UAE.
- Experience in tax compliance and strategy development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
