Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Lead to join our team and lead our efforts in PHM research, focusing on aero engine prognostics and health management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing research strategies, leading research projects, and collaborating with industry partners to advance the state-of-the-art in PHM.
Key Responsibilities
- Research Leadership
- Develop and implement research strategies to advance the field of PHM in aeronautical engineering.
- Lead research projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify research opportunities and develop collaborative research projects.
- Develop and maintain expertise in PHM research, with a focus on aero engine prognostics and health management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PHM research and industry applications.
- Lead and manage a team of researchers and engineers to achieve research objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to develop their skills and expertise.
- Communicate research results and progress to stakeholders, including industry partners and internal teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate research findings into industry applications.
Requirements
- Education
- Doctorate (Ph.D., DSc) in a relevant field, such as aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in PHM research, with a focus on aero engine prognostics and health management.
- Proven track record of leading research projects and teams.
- Expertise in PHM research, including model-based and data-driven fault diagnosis and prognosis.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink real-time performance modeling, PYTHON, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
