Join GEOSCIENCE TESTING LABORATORY as a Quality Assurance Chemical Engineer and take on a challenging role that requires technical expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols specific to chemical manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct detailed analysis of chemical compositions and processes to identify potential quality issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and production, to refine processes and improve product quality.
- Perform routine inspections and audits of production facilities and processes, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Utilize statistical process control methods to monitor production quality and establish benchmarks for performance improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformance incidents and develop effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring that the organization adapts accordingly.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and trends, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Engage with suppliers to assess and improve the quality of incoming materials, establishing strong quality partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, with advanced degrees being a distinct advantage.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, showcasing a commitment to quality excellence.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and understanding compliance requirements relevant to the chemical sector.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control software, with a strong command of data interpretation.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional language skills being a valuable asset in global operations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen analytical mindset that drives effective decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
