This is a critical position at Otis Elevator Co. where you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide management information and insights to facilitate discussion and decision making on all dimensions of work area performance.
  • Foster a controlled and consistent environment by adhering to departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure zero accidents, low call back rates, reduced labor and spare parts consumption, and zero cancellations in the team's daily operations.
  • Cascade the organizational plan into individual accountabilities, distributing tasks balanced among team members.
  • Conduct safety audits at client sites to ensure service/maintenance operations align with OTIS safe working procedures and WWJSSS requirements.
  • Evaluate performance metrics, such as callback/unit/year, hours/unit/unit, and material cost/unit/year, to devise corrective actions for improving team performance.
  • Maintain close relationships with employees and customers to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Act as second-level support for technical issues.
  • Track team utilization against plan to ensure productivity in operations.
  • Support junior colleagues with service/maintenance operations, acting as a coach to develop their skills further.
  • Conduct formal and informal trainings on technical tasks for team members to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Notify the Finance Department of work stages at client sites to enable timely payment according to contracts or proposal conditions.
  • Prepare manufacturing orders, material requisitions, and correctional documents (AMT).
  • Organize and supervise team activities to support self-management and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members for continuous development.
