Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment. This includes inspecting, diagnosing, and fixing mechanical issues in machinery and systems, conducting preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure equipment efficiency, and installing and replacing mechanical components such as motors, belts, bearings, and gears.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with industrial machines, mechanical systems, and tools, and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. They will also possess strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to use various tools, including wrenches, drills, and testing equipment, and understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues in machinery and systems to identify root causes and recommend solutions
  • Install and replace mechanical components such as motors, belts, bearings, and gears as required
  • Operate tools and machinery required for repair and maintenance work
  • Follow safety regulations and ensure workplace safety standards are met
