We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AML Analyst to join our team at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank PJSC. As a key member of our AML team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance and enhancing efficiency through the execution and monitoring of transaction activity performed in branches and business departments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Level 3 AML investigations on cases identified and through other channels like fraud, business, and other external alerts.
- Prepare AML reports, including EDD/ISTR/STR, and submit them to the relevant authorities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business units to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide subject matter expertise within the AML unit and to other business units, making recommendations related to the reporting of suspicious activity.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices pertaining to AML/CFT, assessing their impact on ADIB Group.
- Professional qualifications or industry-recognized certifications in AML/Compliance related fields.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Strong knowledge of UAE/international regulations and the bank's products, policies, and procedures.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the banking or financial services sector, with a minimum of 2 years in the AML investigation area.
