Crater Assembler

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Crater Assembler to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and packaging materials with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lumber and Fasteners Expertise: You will have a strong knowledge of lumber materials and fasteners, ensuring accurate and efficient assembly processes.
• Woodworking Equipment Operation: You will be confident in operating various woodworking equipment, including table saws, radial arms, and handheld tools.
• Team Collaboration: You will work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other assemblers and cutters to meet customer demands and maintain a smooth production workflow.
• Maintenance and Upkeep: You will assist in routine maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Carpentry Techniques: You will have a basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, enabling you to tackle complex assembly tasks with confidence.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience with Hand Tools and Power Tools: You must have experience working with hand tools and power tools, ensuring efficient and accurate assembly processes.
• Manufacturing Environment Experience: You must have worked in a manufacturing environment in previous work experience, demonstrating your ability to adapt to fast-paced production environments.
• Packaging and Kitting Experience: Packaging and kitting experience is a significant bonus, as you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently packaging materials for shipping.
• Computer Skills: You must have experience using a computer for shipping purposes, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry and record-keeping.
