Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Islamic teacher to develop and implement a comprehensive Islamic studies curriculum for our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Islamic studies, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Design and develop a comprehensive Islamic studies curriculum suitable for the target grade level, incorporating relevant cultural and historical context into lesson plans.
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cover various aspects of Islamic studies, including but not limited to Quranic studies, Hadith, Islamic history, ethics, and Islamic jurisprudence.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Foster an inclusive and culturally sensitive learning environment that respects and appreciates the diversity within the student body.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop appropriate assessment tools to measure students' understanding and progress in Islamic studies, provide constructive feedback to students, and communicate progress to parents.
  • Integration of Technology: Incorporate relevant educational technology tools to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to integrate Islamic studies into a holistic educational program, participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in education.
  • Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community, participate in community events and initiatives that promote Islamic education.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Islamic studies or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching Islamic studies.
  • Strong background in Islamic studies, including Quranic studies, Hadith, Islamic history, ethics, and Islamic jurisprudence.
  • Excellent teaching skills, ability to create engaging lesson plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
