Job Purpose: To conduct comprehensive analysis of AMOS data to generate insights in material planning and procurement, optimizing inventory and identifying critical priority areas for timely corrective actions to ensure high-quality sourcing at the lowest cost of ownership. This role involves analyzing inventory levels, forecasting material requirements, and ensuring the timely and efficient supply of materials to support operational needs. Continuous monitoring and benchmarking against past trends and planned KPIs are essential to ensure timely corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead AMOS data extraction and analytics to derive meaningful insights and report procurement KPIs along with corrective actions in consultation with the Head of Department.
  2. Maintain tracking of identified corrective procurement actions to meet KPIs.
  3. Assist in advancing automation projects in material planning and ordering to replace manual tasks outside the AMOS system.
  4. Monitor the Stores Shortage List against each PreLoad Material to evaluate cases with the related data available in the system and consult with the Material Planning Officer for the next steps.
  5. Support Material Planning by extracting data from AMOS to prepare the EO Ledger and identify required materials against each Engineering Order.
  6. Generate daily material reports from AMOS.
  7. Monitor Material Forecast (APN: PCF) for the upcoming month to ensure all required materials against each planned work card are available in stock.
  8. Coordinate with Technical Procurement to evaluate material requirements for Heavy Maintenance Events based on Hangar Capacity Plans to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
  9. Generate all required historical consumption data and trends from the AMOS system weekly to evaluate the Reorder level setup for consumable items.
  10. Produce reports for unscheduled material requirements after each maintenance event, analyzing any new part numbers for Min/Max setup with a business case justification.
  11. Support Material Planning with necessary data from AMOS, including RSPL, CMM, AIPC, and Reliability Data for review, including Float levels for Repairable/Rotable Items.
  12. Assist Material Planners with required data from AMOS for any evaluation of scheduled and unscheduled requirements or requests from hubs to plan accordingly.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced skills in AMOS data extraction and automation of manual processes in material planning and procurement.
  • Proficient in data mining and extracting meaningful insights.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Cost-oriented with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role handling technical procurement in the Material Planning & Procurement sector, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively and deliver against business strategies and set KPIs.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance requirements is advantageous.
